2017 Award for Excellence in Planning & Design 2017 Award for Excellence in Planning & Design – Metz Engineers as part of a team is proud to announce receipt and recognition of Montgomery Award for Excellence in Planning & Design for 2017. The award was for Innovative planning, environmentally sensitive design of the Crossways Bridge & Trail located in Lower Gwynedd & Whitpain Townships. The multiuse trail, which connects people and nature is a critical link to the County regional trail system connecting Lower Gwynedd’s Penllyn Woods Park, the Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association’s Crossways Preserve and the Montgomery County Community College to Montgomery County’s Green Ribbon Trail.

CAI - 2017 Legislative Action Committee Day in Harrisburg Jeffrey A. Wert, PE, PLS, Principal of Metz Engineers, Lansdale PA participated in the April 2017 Community Association Institute (CAI) Legislative Action Committee Day in Harrisburg, as reported in the July/August edition Community Assets magazine of the Delaware Valley Chapter. The Committee’s efforts through discussions with legislators have been instrumental in advancing legislation to help Common Interest Communities in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Lansdale Business Hall of Fame Metz Engineers has been selected four years in a row for the 2017 Best of Lansdale Awards for Civil Engineering and has been inducted into the Lansdale Business Hall of Fame.
